Our History

Antipolo National High School – Dela Paz Extension is a dream-come-true for Hon. Serafin M. Alvaran who persistently proposed and processed the emergence of this new learning institution.

Way back when he was still a city councilor, Hon. Alvaran saw the urgency for the building of this new school geared to provide excellent educational service to the constituents of Barangay Dela Paz so he arduously pushed the realization of this project.

Through the immediate support of the incumbent Mayor Danilo O. Leyble, the current four-storey building was put up.

It started its operation on the 6th day of June 2011 through the leadership of the Teacher-in-Charge Mrs. Melanie F. Burgonia with the support of 8 teachers, 571 students and parents.

This extension school is under the supervision of Dr. Corazon S. Laserna, Principal IV of Antipolo National High School main campus which is located at Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Antipolo City.

The school campus is situated at Ninoy Aquino Ave., Brgy. Dela Paz under the chairmanship of the current Barangay Captain, Hon. Serafin “Apin” M. Alvaran. The campus occupies a lot area of 3, 921 square meters. It is a four-storey building with 16 classrooms used by students.

Parents, students and teachers cooperate in maintaining the full ambiance of the campus together with the first General PTA led by the president Mr. Johnny Antonio. The parents in particular have been showing their support by bringing fruit- bearing trees, ornamental plants and garden equipment. The Barangay tanods of Sitio Monteverde headed by Rolando Barcelona unselfishly devote their time in maintaining peace and order.

With the continuous support and assistance of stakeholders, it would be quite possible that this school can become a potential centre of academic excellence and technical competence.
